- Google profile data — name, email address, and profile picture, obtained when you sign in with Google OAuth.
- Phone number — provided by you in your account settings so we can deliver phone call reminders.
- Email content — the subject line and body of emails you send to our reminder addresses, used solely to create and deliver your reminders.
- Usage data — task creation timestamps, reminder delivery status, and basic analytics to improve the service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your FollowUpCall account.
- Schedule and deliver email reminders and phone call reminders based on the tasks you create.
- Send transactional emails such as confirmation and welcome messages.
- Improve the reliability and performance of the service.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following third-party services to operate FollowUpCall. Each provider only receives the minimum data necessary to perform its function:
- Google OAuth — for user authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS SES) — for sending and receiving emails.
- Twilio — for placing phone call reminders to your registered phone number.
- MongoDB Atlas — for storing user data, tasks, and account information in a cloud-hosted database.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
FollowUpCall uses minimal client-side storage. We store an authentication token in your browser's localStorage to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data and task history for as long as your account is active. Completed task data (email subject, body, and delivery status) is retained for up to 12 months after the reminder is delivered, after which it may be automatically deleted.
If you delete your account, we will remove all personal data associated with it within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time by deleting your account.
